Mooroolbark Uniting Church partners with Kilsyth Primary School to provide the Kids Hope program. School staff recommend children who will benefit from some additional support from a mentor and parent permission is gained.

Each Individual volunteer is trained and matched with one child as a mentor. They spend one hour together each week at the school doing activities and getting to know each other. This special time continues for as long as it suits the child and mentor, often until they finish primary school. It is a way for us to share our experiences and care for a young person in our local community which enriches the lives of mentors and children.
