This fundraising event is held on the second Saturday in November and is known for the quality of the homemade produce (jams, jellies, sauces, chutney, and relish), cakes, including Christmas cakes made to order, shortbread, and biscuits. Plants include many varieties of tomato plants grown from seed, Secondhand books, other stalls which may be booked, competitions, and a great cafe and BBQ. St. Margaret’s, who once used the proceeds to pay off the debt on buildings, now selects a number of worthy projects to support the financial result.
